Smallholder farmers, solar irrigation, climate change, climate-resilient agriculture
23 December 21
Southern Africa, Central Africa
With the worsening of climate disruption, several sectors of activity are impacted in Africa with sometimes irreversible consequences. It is now time to adapt and in the Central and Southern Africa sub-regions, companies and organizations are working specially to strengthen the resilience of farmers who are paying a heavy price for the drought. The phenomenon dries out the soil, reducing the agricultural production on which populations depend for their food.
