Summary
IWMI Director General, Mark Smith and Lead Author and Editor, Azeem Ali Shah emphasized the challenges of transboundary water management at the book launching ceremony. Titled, Afghanistan-Pakistan Share Waters: State of the Basins, the book was published under the WMfEP program implemented by IWMI and funded by USAID-Pakistan Mission. This book is the first to be published after the Taliban regained power in Afghanistan in August 2021.
